You bought a brand new house, and it is amazing! However, living in it for a few months, you started noticing   some defects. This is a very common. The fact is that, with something as complex as a house, mistakes can happen – even with the best builders in the business. That is why most contractors provide a One Year Warranty on new builds. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to communicate concerns or issues to the Builder prior to the One Year expiration date. What is a One Year Warranty On A Residential Home?

Important Things You Should Know

The best time to schedule a One Year Warranty Inspection is at the 10-month anniversary. Don't fret, if you are over 10 months yet under warranty. If time is of the essence, we will get you scheduled. 

It's important to note that coverage will vary from builder to builder. We recommend that each homeowner familiarizes themselves with their builders warranty coverage; as it is limited. One example of a limitation are  manufacturers warranties. Builder warranties must be specific damage tied back to the construction of the home that caused or is causing damage hence the One Year Warranty offered by reputable builders. 

While our warranty inspection reports do not guarantee that items will be fixed, since sometimes certain items are not covered by the builder warranty,  the report is simply a way to shed light on all of the observed problem areas.
